James C. "Slick" Johnson of Fredericksburg passed away on May 26, 2019 at the age of 81. He was born on September 2, 1937 in Lincoln County Arkansas to Samuel and Marjorie Taylor Johnson. He married Barbara Wood on September 28, 1975 in Houston TX.

Slick is survived by his wife Barbara Johnson of Fredericksburg; daughter Jamye Johnson Echarte of Wimberley; brother Bo Johnson of Houston; sister Patricia Johnson of Houston, 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Marjorie Johnson; daughter Natalie Chabot.

Per his wishes Mr. Johnson will be cremated and a private family service will take place at a later date.
