James (Jim) Arnold Stengel of Kerrville died Wednesday November 20, 2024 at the age of 63.  He was born March 10, 1961 in Austin, Texas to Thomas Karl Stengel and Muriel Elaine (Rode) Stengel.  He was a 1979 Graduate of Kerrville Tivy High School, a 1990 graduate of Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, and completed Paralegal Certification at Southwestern Career Institute in 2003.

Jim is survived by his Father Karl Stengel and wife Ingrid of Fredericksburg, Brother Stephen Stengel  and wife Lisa of Doss, niece Kasey (Stengel) Burton and husband Jeffrey, their children Audrey and Reagan all of Moyock, North Carolina, nephew Chase Stengel of Harper, Aunt, Kay (Stengel) Wellbaum of Woodway, Texas, Uncle, Kris Stengel and wife Trisha of Humble, Texas,  long time family friend Kay Neffendorf-Petsch, and numerous cousins.

Jim was preceded in death by his Mother, Elaine (Rode) Stengel, maternal Grandparents, Arnold and Carrie (Geistweidt) Rode of Doss, paternal Grandparents Fritz and Augusta (Jenkins) Stengel of Mason, Aunt Alice Mae (Rode) Aaron and husband Marvin.

Services will be held Tuesday November 26, 2024 at the Hilda United Methodist Church, Hilda Community, Mason County, Texas with visitation from 10am to 11 am, Church Service at 11 am and burial in the Hilda Methodist Cemetery to follow.
