James D. Welch passed away Sunday, January 10 ^th , at the age of 83.

James is survived by his son, James R. Welch of Vacaville CA, 2 grandchildren and a brother, Jimmy Welch.

James was born December 27, 1937, in Harris County, to John Roy Welch and Ollie B. Reed Welch. He served in the U.S. Army before working in the oil and gas industry.

James will be cremated with a burial in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
