James Edward Wienecke of Harper passed away on January 8, 2018 at the age of 75. He was born on January 30, 1942 in Kerr County TX to Otto and Alma Moellendorf Wienecke. He married Paula Elaine Anderson on February 23, 1974 in St. James Lutheran Church in Harper.

He is survived by his daughters, Susan Wienecke Rodriguez and husband Jesse of Tomball TX Jamie Jean Wienecke of Harper grandsons James Rodriguez and Bubba Wienecke; Brother Bobby Wienecke and wife Sharon of Harper; and 2 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his Wife Paula Elaine Wienecke; his parents Otto and Alma Wienecke; sisters, Alma Klein, Annie Faye Greeson, Julia McBee, Jennilea Gold, Ella Faye Thomas, Dora Harvey; brothers, Henry Wienecke, Clifford Wienecke and Otto Wienecke Jr.

A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday January 13, 2018 at 10:30a.m. in St. James Lutheran Church in Harper with interment to follow at Harper Community Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday January 12, 2018 from 4:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Corey Forsyth, William McBee, Allen Wienecke, Wayne Wienecke, Audie Wienecke, Sonny Ellis.

Honorary pallbearers are James Wienecke II, James Rodriguez
