Jerry Allen Hohenberger passed away Friday, September 4 ^th , at the age of 84.

Jerry was born July 15 ^th , 1936, to Alvin and Ruby Hoffman Hohenberger and grew up in the Meusebach community. He attended the community school and later attended Fredericksburg High School. He joined the navy after high school and served 5 years. In 1964 he married Ruby Roegels and together they had 3 children.

Jerry is survived by his wife Ruby, daughters Corky (Carjane) Fonder and her husband Jim, Cherril Bierschwale and her husband Todd, son Colin and his wife Vicki. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren: Leah and Michael Kader of Boerne and their daughters Margaret and Laurelle, Lindsay Crenwelge of Denver CO, Witten Bierschwale of Fredericksburg, Kimberly and Kenneth Jackson and their daughter Braylee, Shannon and Brit Maxwell and Chris Childers of Austin.

Two brothers preceded him in death, Calvin Weber and LeRoy Hohenberger. One brother survives him, Jimmy Hohenberger of Dallas. He was also preceded in death by his father and mother.

He will be missed but not forgotten.

The family will have a private celebration of his life. Memorial contributions may be made to Hill Country Memorial Hospice, Fredericksburg Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, or the charity of one's choice.
