John G. Bennett of Fredericksburg passed away on Wednesday September 23, 2026 at the age of 74. He was born in Dallas to James E. Bennett and Frances L. McCrary Bennett on April 9, 1952. On November 22, 1979 he married Cathy Johnson in Texarkana TX. a renowned sculptor John, and Cathy settled in Fredericksburg.

John is survived by his wife Cathy Bennett, sister Annette Bennett, brother James E. Bennett Jr.
