Dr. John Douglass passed away Monday, May 21 ^st , at the age of 70.

John is survived by his wife, Eileen Douglass of San Antonio; children: Jay Gootee, Brian Gootee, Sarah Hoover, Katy Holmes; grandchildren: Liam, Thomas, Lily, Samuel, Adam, Alyson, Zoe, Zander; 1 great grandchild & brother, Mike Douglass of San Antonio.

John was born March 13, 1948, in San Antonio, to John Ed & Elizabeth Garner Douglass. He married Eileen Elzner, December 31, 1977, in Aldin Alief, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents & a brother, Dick Douglass.

A memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Friday, May 25th, in Bulverde United Methodist Church.
