John Frederick Moss of Fredericksburg passed away on April 22, 2023 at the age of 84. He was born in Brazos County on December 11, 1938 to Robert H. and Locke Wood Moss. He married Kirsten Madsen on April 28, 1981 in Brazos County.

He is survived by his wife Kirsten Moss, children John F. Moss of Austin, Darby Moss Warren and husband Russell of Conroe, James W. Moss of Canton; step children Cid Galindo of Austin, Kim Galindo of Bryan, Lis Soto and husband Ricky of Bryan, 3 grandchildren, J.D. Moss, Grant Warren and Reed Warren; 6 step grandchildren, Lola Galindo, Maya Galindo, Miani Soto, Casandra Soto, Alexia Soto and Jasmin Soto.

He is preceded in death by his parents Robert H. and Locke Moss.

Graveside services will take place on Thursday April 27, 2023 at 2:00p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery with Lucinda Zesch officiating.
