Karen Annette Scherer Schade of Fredericksburg passed away on August 5, 2024 at the age of 82. She was born in Houston TX to Alfred G. and Adeline Juergen Scherer. She married Timothy Wayne Schade on September 3, 1960.

Karen is survived by her husband of 63 years Timothy Wayne Schade of Fredericksburg, daughters; Kimmi Taylor and husband Jim of Fredericksburg, Kristen Nelon and husband Mark of Burleson, sister June Thomas of Leesville LA, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A visitation will take place on Friday August 9, 2024 from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30p.m. in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home.
