Lara Elees Heep, 51, of Madisonville, LA passed away on March 15, 2021 in Treasure Island, FL.

Lara was born in Fredericksburg, TX on January 24, 1970 to Raydean S. Borchers and Gerald R. Heep. Miss Heep had a beautiful mind and attended the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA) in Natchitoches, LA where she furthered her secondary school education surrounded by students who were also blessed with similarly gifted minds. Lara continued her education at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN where she earned her Bachelor degree in psychology.

Lara was also blessed with a tender heart. She was generous with her time, her resources, and her compassion. Miss Heep regularly volunteered at hospitals and for charitable organizations, throughout her life, and had a passion for helping those who needed help the very most. Lara was an intensely loyal friend and supporter of those who loved and befriended her.

Lara is survived by her parents, Raydean of Fredericksburg, TX and Gerald of Missouri City, TX, as well as two sisters, two brothers, their spouses: Bethany and Rodney Reed of Missouri City, TX, Cori Gilroy of Fair Oaks Ranch, TX, Jordan and Vanessa Heep of Helotes, TX, Gerrad and Kristie Heep of Missouri City, TX, one niece and five nephews.

A small, private graveside service will be held at Meusebach Cemetery in Fredericksburg, TX.
