Laurel Jean Hoekstra of Stonewall passed away on July 29, 2025 at the age of 63. She was born in San Antonio to Edwin Wayne and Julia Bell Holland Medlin.

She is survived by her husband Randy Hoekstra, daughters; Julia Hoekstra of Kyle and Janae Hoekstra of Stonewall, Brother Ted Medlin and sister Dana Martin, a grandchild Brooks Fisher.

She is preceded in death by her parents Edwin Wayne Medlin and Julia Bell Medlin , brother Benjamin Medlin.

There will be a graveside service 10:00a.m. on Monday August 11, 2025 in the Stonewall Community Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be made to the Stonewall VFD, Stonewall Baptist Church.
