Mrs. Leota Daniel passed away Friday, January 6th, at the age of 91. Leota is survived by her husband, Marvin A. Daniel of Fredericksburg; son, Wendell Daniel & wife Linda of Willis; 2 grandchildren: Celie Thomson & husband Lane of Columbus; Kelly Foltz & husband Douglas of Chaffee, MO & 8 great grandchildren;Alexandra, Abigail & Audrey Thomson; Ellie, Cole, Sydney & Cora Foltz.

Leota Marie Daniel was born February 7, 1925, in Briggs, TX, to James Roy & Vena Williams Jordan. She married Marvin Daniel, April 22, 1943.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Garrett Joran & sister, WincaLe Hill.
She was a loving & devoted wife & homemaker. She loved the Lord & served faithfully for many years at First Baptist Church. Leota was an outstanding cook who provided many dishes & meals to friends, neighbors & anyone in need. She enjoyed country music & made many trips to Branson, MO to see country music entertainers.

Visitation for Leota Daniel will be 4-6 p.m., Monday, January 9th, in Fredericksburg Funeral home & 9-10 a.m., Tuesday, January 10th, in First Baptist church.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, January 10th, in First Baptist Church, with Rev.'s Tommy Russell & D.G. McCoury officiating.
Graveside services will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Walt Perryman, David Wiemers, Dennis Hill, Carroll Sultemeier, Lane Thomson & Mark Prehn. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Cole Daniel Foltz.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Fredericksburg, Hill Country Community Needs Council, or the charity of one's choice.
