Louis S. Krieger of Fredericksburg passed away on Wednesday January 25, 2017 at the age of 83. Louis was born to Allie O. and Edna Stahl Krieger On December 12, 1933 in Fredericksburg and raised out in the Luckenbach area. He worked at Behrends Electronic while in High School. He graduated from FHS. In 1955 he joined the Air Force and started a career that lasted 23 years. He worked with electronics on Defensive Missile Systems. He met his wife Maria in Germany and they were married in 1958 in Europe. After retiring from the Air Force he worked at Moody Aircraft installing electronics until retiring at 65.

He is survived by his brother Charles Krieger and his wife Mary Ann of Fredericksburg, Stepson Gerhard Feiertag of Germany.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Maria Krieger.

Visitation will be Monday January 30, 2017 in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home from 4:00p.m. - 6:00p.m. with a service to follow at 6:00 p.m. in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Williams officiating.
