Lucille Emma Knirsch of Fredericksburg passed away on May 19, 2019 at the age of 94. She was born on October 11, 1924 in Blue Island IL to Arthur and Emma Hunstock Rauch. On July 14, 1945 she married Robert Benhart Knirsch.

Lucille is survived by her children Nancy Brewster of San Dimas CA, Allen Knirsch and wife Nelle of San Antonio TX, sister Margie Rauch, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert B. Knirsch; parents Arthur and Emma Rauch, brothers Herbert Rauch, Roy Rauch, Elmer Rauch, Raymond Rauch and sister Bernice.

Visitation will take place on Saturday May 25, 2019 from 10-11a.m. in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will take place on Saturday May 25, 2019 in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Casey Zesch officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in the First Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Blue Island IL.

Memorials may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church or the charity of choice.
