Lydia Ozuna passed away Friday, March 5 ^th , at the age of 82.

Lydia is survived by her husband, Greg Ozuna; children: Yollie Kasper and husband Kendnel of Fredericksburg, Sylvia Garza and husband Roland of San Antonio, Armando Balero and wife Sandy of Fredericksburg, daughter-in-law Elvia Balero of Comfort; stepchildren: Sylvia Ozuna of Fort Worth, Greg Ozuna and wife Rosie of Corpus Christi; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; siblings Carmen Martinez, Lucy Sanchez, John Castillo, Rita Sanchez, Ophelia Fuentes, Lupe Straube, Carol Moldenhauer, Clem Castillo,Violanda Weed and Raymond Castillo.

Lydia was born August 3, 1938, in Blanco County, to Pablo Castillo and Ernestina Benavidez Castillo. She married Gregorio Ozuna March 19, 1985. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Raymundo Balero and brother Paul Castillo.

The family will greet friends 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, March 9 ^th , in the chapel of Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Funeral services will begin 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 10 ^th , in the Family Chapel of Greenwood Cemetery, with Rev. John Cruz officiating.
