Marge Elizabeth Spiller of Kerrville passed away on Sunday August 20 at the age of 69.  She was born on October 31, 1947 in Northeast PA.  At the age of seven, she was adopted by Merle and Ruth Georgie Carey of Victoria, TX.  On August 24, 1974 Marge married Rev. Sid Spiller in Victoria, TX.

Marge, a retired elementary school teacher, is survived by her husband, Rev. Sid Spiller of Kerrville, son Greg Spiller and his wife Christina and their children Lacey, Cora, and Jaxon of College Station; daughter Kristi Johnson and husband Wayne and their children Kathryn, Austin, and Sydney of Killeen; sister Carrol Garcia of Kerrville.

She is preceded in death by her parents Merle and Ruth Carey.

A memorial service (casual dress) will take place on August 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fredericksburg United Methodist Church with Rev. George Lumpkin presiding.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hill Country Memorial Hospice or the Fredericksburg United Methodist Church Foundation.
