Marilyn "Mary" Ruth Embrey of Fredericksburg passed away on June 2, 2018 at the age of 77. She was born on December 2, 1940 in Fredericksburg to Elgin Hugo and Mabel Tinney Beckmann. She was married to William Terrell Embrey until his passing in 2000.

She is survived by her children Bill Embrey of Fredericksburg, Dustin Embrey and wife Angela of Fredericksburg, Misty Harrison and husband Mark of Washington State, Patrick Embrey of Fredericksburg; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; brother, Elgin Beckmann Jr., sisters, Debbie Dennis and husband Richard, Joanne Schott and brother-in-law Jim Terry.

She is preceded in death by her husband William Terrell Embrey, her parents Elgin and Mabel Beckmann and sister Becky Terry.

Per her wishes she will be cremated. The family will greet friends 4-5 p.m., Thursday, June 14 ^th in Fredericksburg Funeral Home, with a memorial service beginning at 5 p.m.
