Martin R. Laumann of Fredericksburg passed away at the age of 81. He was born on February 18, 1938 in Rogers Minnesota to Martin G. and Marie C. Bolduc Laumann. He married Kathryn Peese on August 18, 1962 in Fredericksburg. Martin served his country in the Air Force retiring in 1976.

He is survived by his wife Kathryn Laumann, sons Martin Keith Laumann of Fredericksburg, Andrew Laumann and wife Linda of Fredericksburg, daughters Kimberly Smith and husband Don of Alpine TX, Brenda Klein and husband Walter of Marfa TX.; sisters Caroline Wenz,  RoseAnn Eggersgluss, Elenor Goodsell, and Annella Helgerson; Grandchildren Joshua Smith and wife Catherine, Casey Smith, Jasper Klein, Trevor Klein, Tanner Klein and Jake Laumann and one great granddaughter Joslyn.

He is preceded in death by his Parents Martin G. and Marie C. Laumann; sisters; Maggie Cyrus, Betty Wenz, and Florence Adrignola; brother Andrew Laumann.

Per his wishes Mr. Laumann will be cremated and a graveside service with military honors will take place at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery on August 5, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.
