Melanie Jane Naylor, 73, of Fredericksburg and formerly of Brownwood TX died Wednesday, Dec 8, 2021.

Melanie was born June 12, 1948 in San Antonio, Texas to Roger and Marie Naylor. She was an animal lover, artist and an excellent bridge player. Most of all, she loved people.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sister and spouse, Melissa and Roger Opio of Fredericksburg.

Melanie felt truly blessed with meeting extraordinary people throughout her lifetime. She expressed profound thanks to the many people that extended their love, generosity and time to provide her with a gentle and beautiful exit.

She requested that there be no services in her memory and asked that at the end of the day, you lift your hands to God and join her in rejoicing her life on this earth and the wonderful people she encountered along the way.
