Mindy Lee Neyland King of Fredericksburg, TX passed away on October 3, 2021 at the age of 70. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on January 7, 1951 to Tom R. Neyland, Sr. and Dorothy Haroldson Neyland.

She is survived by her son James Thomas "Tommy" King of Sugar Land, TX, her brother Tom R. Neyland, Jr. and wife, Marilyn of Montgomery, TX.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jim King, and her parents Tom and Dorothy Neyland.

Mindy grew up in Houston and graduated from Bellaire High School. She was in the Bellaire Belles drill team and was also a member of the Shamrock Hilton Corkettes, a nationally recognized synchronized swim team. She attended the University of Texas in Austin.

Mindy lived in Sugar Land, TX for almost 40 years. She was an active member of Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church. She moved to Fredericksburg, TX in 2018.

Per her wishes she will be cremated and a celebration of her life will take place at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 30th, in the chapel of Fredericksburg Funeral Home.
