Mirtha G. De Leon, 47, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 27, 2024, after a courageous battle of Ovarian Cancer. She was born in Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico, on June 8, 1976.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Claudio and Cruz Ramirez.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Benito De Leon, daughter Zeneta De Leon and fiancé Jamie Sanchez, son Zachry De Leon and fiancé Lindcy Cisneros, and daughter Zeleste De Leon. She is also survived by her siblings; San Juanita, Alma Davis, and Jaime Munoz.

Mirtha was a beloved wife, sister, mother, and friend. She devoted her time to St. Mary's ACTS and was a beautiful sister in Christ. Mirtha tackled every obstacle given to her with the prettiest smile. She touched the hearts of every single person she met and made sure not to leave anyone out.

Mirtha was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in July 2020. Since her diagnosis, she devoted her time in spreading awareness. She was known for her tenacious spirit and spunky attitude. Mirtha will be missed and forever loved.

The family will greet friends 8:30-9:30 a.m., Friday, February 2nd, in St. Mary's Catholic Church followed by a Rosary at 9:30 with a Mass of Resurrection at 10 a.m.

Following the service she will be cremated.
