Moeta Benson's Obituary
Moeta Benson of Fredericksburg passed away on Friday September 22, 2017 at the age of 99. She was born on July 16, 1918 to Elva and Flossie Pearl Shaffer East in Seneca MO.
Moeta is survived by her three children Tanya Benson of Fredericksburg, Debi Halbert and husband Gary of Spicewood, and Buddy Ray Benson and wife Kelly of Wyandotte OK, 5 grandchildren Ryan Carrion, Tyler Halbert, Jordyn Halbert, Sean Benson and Josh Benson , as well as four great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Cecil Lee Benson "Buddy", parents, Elva and Flossie East, brother Hubert East, sisters, Nedra Crowder, and Glenna Dorman.
Visitation will be Sunday September 24, 2017 in the Fredericksburg Funeral home from 1:00p.m. to 3:00p.m.
A graveside service will take place on Monday September 25, 2017at 3:00p.m. in the Restland Cemetery in Dallas.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Fredericksburg.
