Naomi Elaine "Nomi" Gillespie passed away Saturday, March 20 ^th , at the age of 84.

Nomi Gillespie is survived by her children: Mark Gillespie of Kerrville, Mindy Parker and husband Winn of Fredericksburg, Michael Gillespie and wife Connie Allen of Ingram; 8 grandchildren: Cee Edwards and husband Jacob, Amber Burress and husband Sam, Candice Edwards and husband Mike, Happy Gray and wife Amanda, Aimee Longoria and husband Fidencio, Misti Hahn and husband Jeff, Logan Gray, Matthew Gillespie; 20 great grandchildren: Aislinn, Gage, Gunner, Kaycee, Hayden, Owen, Daniel, Myles, Maddox, Hudson, Candice, Tyanne, Seth, Daren, James, Randi, Kevin, Tanner, Cassie, Karalynn; great-great grandchild Carter; siblings: Russell Logan and wife Pat of Tomball, Ralph Logan and wife Jeannie of Hemphill, Bobby Logan and wife Kathie of Brookshire, Roger Logan of Houston and brother-in-law John Higginbotham of Houston.

Nomi was born September 21, 1936, in Houston TX, to Robert Logan and Hazel Spence Logan. She married Melville Gillespie, July 10, 1955, in Houston. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister, Joan Higginbotham.

A celebration of Nomi's life will be held 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 24 ^th , in the chapel of Fredericksburg Funeral Home. The family will greet friends 2-3 p.m. before the service.
