Nettie Marie Schuch, nee Anderegg , of Doss, Texas passed away on May 18, 2017 in Manchaca, Texas. Funeral services will be on May 22, 2017 at 10:00a.m. in the
Fredericksburg Funeral Home.Interment followed at Greenwood Cemetery.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Fredericksburg Funeral Home where visitation will be on May 22, 2017 from 9:00a.m. to 10:00 am

Mrs. Schuch was born on June 7, 1926 in Lange, Texas to Martin E. Anderegg and Cecilia Lange Anderegg . She grew up in Hilda and graduated from Mason High School in 1944.

Mrs. Schuch married Rudi A. Schuch on October 5, 1946 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Doss Texas, where she had also been baptized and confirmed. They lived in Austin until the 1970s when they moved to New Braunfels. They retired to Doss in 1986 on land that Mrs. Schuch had inherited.

Mrs. Schuch was preceded in death by her husband and all of her siblings and their spouses, including Margaret and Ryland Geistweidt, Emma and Leonard Kothmann , Emil and Bessie Anderegg , Martin and Loriena Anderegg , and Anita and Elgin Jost. She was also preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Ava Knippelmier and a daughter-in-law, Shirley Spangler Schuch.

Mrs. Schuch is survived by four children and their spouses , including Duane and Linda Schuch of Round Rock , Don and Sandy Schuch of Austin , Deann and Travis Woodland of Austin , and Denise and Carrol Odell of Buda.

She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, including Brad and Brian Schuch, Tracy Knippelmier , Whitnie Schuch, Trent and Troy Woodland , Zac and Dylan Schuch, Michelle Hartkopf, Gwen Bennett, and Brian and Craig Odell. In addition, she is survived by 17 great-grandchildren and two sister-in-laws, Mrs. Hugo Sattler (Margaret) of Ponca Arkansas (formerly of Doss) and Mrs. Harvey Land (Gertrude) of Fredericksburg, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers included her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers included Gerald Bratton, Pat Jung, and Ray Brown.

Memorials may be made to the Doss Volunteer Fire Department, the Marbridge Foundation, the Alzheimer 's Association , Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, or to a charity of your choice.
