Oline Mary Sagebiel of Fredericksburg passed away on Thursday June 6, 2019 at the age of 96. She was born on March 5, 1923 to Eli and Minda Durst Houy in Gillespie County TX.

She is survived by her children Dorothy Mitschke and husband Leonard of Austin, David Meier Jr. and wife Carlene of Llano, Edward Meier and wife Dianne of Stonewall, Daniel Meier and wife Anna of Dripping Springs, Lester Meier and wife Holly of Fredericksburg, stepchildren Arthur Sagebiel and wife Mary Alice of Hico, Obert Sagebiel and wife Carol Ann of Cuero, Sam Sagebiel and wife Patty of Fredericksburg, Ruben Sagebiel Jr. of Fredericksburg; sisters Hellen Schuessler of Fredericksburg, Betty Rabke of Fredericksburg, Nathalie Sims of Vernon, Darlene Teltow of Bryan and brother Newton Houy of Fredericksburg; as well as 21 grandchildren, 31 Great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her first husband David F. Meier, her second husband Ruben C. Sagebiel, her parents Eli and Minda Houy; brothers Elbernie Houy and Harvey Houy, sister Lillian Cooper.

Pallbearers will be Tyson Meier, Jason Meier, Dale Mitschke, D.C. Meier, Shane Meier, Gabe Wilson. David Chester Meier and Price Phillips.

Visitation will take place in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home on Monday June 10, 2019 from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m.Tuesday June 11, 2019 in Bethany Lutheran Church with Reverend Mark Ward officiating. Interment will follow at Der Stadt Friedhof Cemetery.
