Olivia Lena Kuhlmann Treibs Wissemann, died September 2, 2019.  Born September 27, 1921 to Felix and Cora Kuhlmann in Crabapple, Texas,

Olivia attended the Crabapple School.   She married Orwin H. Treibs on January 22, 1941 in Fredericksburg, Texas.  He preceded her in death in 1976.  Olivia was known for her bakery business, particularly for the amazing wedding and special cakes she made.  Customers included dignitaries such as President Lyndon B. Johnson.   On November 23, 1989 Olivia married Calvin Emil Wissemann in Fredericksburg, Texas.  His death preceded hers by a month (2019).

Olivia is survived by her son, Kermit Charles Treibs and wife Kathy of Katy, Texas, her grandson, Kennon Charles Treibs and wife Kristina, of Houston. Texas, and her granddaughter, Kristen Treibs Murphy and husband Matt of Atlanta, GA.  Olivia's great grandchildren are Parker and Maggie Murphy of Atlanta, and Sydney and Drew Thompson of Houston.

Olivia, who was the oldest of 5 children, is also survived by two siblings, a sister Ellen Justice of Houston, and a brother Calvin F. Kuhlmann of Fredericksburg, Texas.  In addition to her husbands, she is preceded in death by her parents Felix and Cora (Kast) Kuhlmann, sister Helen Kuhlmann Stehling and sister Vernell Kuhlmann Doebbler.

Visitation will be 5:00p.m.– 7:00p.m.  Friday September 6, 2019 in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Funeral service will take place at 2:00p.m. Saturday September 7, 2019 in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home  with Chaplain Dan McGookey officiating.

Interment to follow at Der Stadt Friedhof.
