Opal Mae Treibs passed away Wednesday, October 17 ^th , at the age of 88.

Opal is survived by her children: Kenneth Treibs & wife Jaye, Carol Hartmann & husband Mike; 5 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren.

Opal was born July 9, 1930, in Fredericksburg, to Erwin & Olga Nemky Durst. She married Leroy Treibs on June 15, 1950. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leroy Treibs, sister Minerva Montgomery and brother Edward Charles Durst in infancy.

Services for Opal Treibs will be Monday, October 22 ^nd , at 2 p.m., in Hill Country Church.

Graveside services will follow in Der Stadt Friedhof.

Visitation will be 4-6 p.m., Sunday, October 21 ^st in Fredericksburg Funeral Home & 1-2 p.m., Monday, October 22 ^nd , in Hill Country Church.

Serving as pallbearers: Kyle Kothe, Kyle Treibs, Jack Feller, Jason Jenschke, Jacob Jenschke & James Jenschke.

Serving as honorary pallbearers: Jennifer Jenschke, Amy Garner, Leslie Kothe, Traci Hartmann, Jayecee Treibs, Bailee Treibs, Avery Kothe & Cooper Kothe.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hill Country Church Building Fund, Hill Country Memorial Hospital, Votive Hospice, or the charity of one's choice.
