Patricia Ann Kleck, nee Leverett passed away at her home in San Antonio, Texas on June 15, 2022 at the age of 88 years, 10 months and 12 days.

Pat was born in Houston, Texas on Aug. 3, 1933. She was the daughter of May Brachwitz, daughter of Christian Gottlieb Brachwitz, Jr. and Augusta Johanna Kettmann., and Louis Watson Leverett, son of Windom Charles Leverett and Annie Elizabeth Rogers. Her father died of tuberculosis when she was five years old, and she was raised by her mother and older sister, Eloise, as well as her step-father Ernest Ray Cates. She loved to talk of her summer experiences on the farm of her bachelor uncles, Otto, Fritz, August and Gus, where she learned to drive a tractor and do farm work.

Pat was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith, and she graduated in 1951 from Jefferson Davis High School in Houston.

On Nov. 1, 1951 Pat married Calvin E. Weber while he was stationed at Ellington Field in Houston, and moved with him to Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Mississippi. They then moved to Fredericksburg, where Calvin pursued a career in electronics. She began work with the USDA, but she soon opted to stay home and raise her children, Carey, Michael and Donna.

When her children were old enough, Pat went back to work at Frantzen Insurance, where she worked until she retired. She wanted to give her children a college education, so she took on additional work as a restaurant server, working at Shorty's Steak 'n' Que, El Gallo, Spanish Cellar, Sunday House, Friedhelm's, Gay '90's, Gallery Restaurant, Domino Parlor, Alt Dorf, and others. Her children did not disappoint her, her two sons graduating from Texas A&M University and her daughter graduating from Texas A&M University at Galveston.

Pat retired and married Peter G. Kleck on Jan. 20, 1990. They moved to Canyon Lake.  In retirement, Pat and Pete loved to dance and be with friends. They also loved to travel, something she had never had time for while she was working. At home Pat loved to garden and landscape. In 2010 Pat and Pete moved to San Antonio to be near medical care. There she loved hosting her family on visits, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pat made friends easily, and she will always be remembered for her warm smile and fun-loving personality.

Pat is survived by her two sons and their wives, Carey D. Weber and Deborah A. Spanel of Granger, Texas, and Michael Weber and Lisa of Dublin, Texas; a step son, George Wayne Kleck of Las Cruces, New Mexico; four grandchildren, Laura Barker and her husband, David of Carrollton, Texas, Cara Wilhelm and her husband of Farmer's Branch, Texas, Kimberley Weber of Rock Island, Illinois, and Mark Weber of Jarrell, Texas; and 12 great grandchildren, Lucy, Joseph, Maria, Paul, John, Madeleine and Anna Barker and Luke, Emma, Damien, Clare and Cate Wilhelm.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Watson Leverett, her mother, May Brachwitz Leverett, her sister, Eloise Hoffner and her husband, Jack, her step father, Ernest Ray Cates, her daughter, Donna Lea Weber, her first husband Calvin E. Weber, and her second husband, Peter G. Kleck.

A visitation and celebration of life for Pat were held on Saturday, June 25, 2022. Interment will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
