It is with sadness that we announce that Rae Ireland loving mother grandmother, born July 19, 1926 in San Pedro CA passed away peacefully on October 17, 2021 in Fredericksburg TX.

She graduated from Banning HS in San Pedro CA. She worked as an accountant, office supervisor, and real estate broker and sales. When she retired she   moved to West Point CA in the Sierras. In 2000 she moved to Fredericksburg to be with her daughter and son-in-law.

She is survived by her daughter Moneca Osbon, son Dirk Gartrell and wife Jennifer, granddaughter Ashley Mann and husband Scott.

She is preceded in death by her husband Lance Ireland, parents Fern and Herb Stanton, her 3 siblings Dale Stanton, Delbert Stanton and Helen Lamar.

She taught oil painting to adults as well as volunteering to teach children in grade school. She willingly shared her talents. She was a homemaker extraordinaire. She would cook, sew, knit, quilt, and many more talents. It was said if something looked interesting, she would master it.

The family would like to thank the Staff of Hill Country Memorial Hospital for their care.
