Mrs. Ramona Cancino passed away Thursday April 30, 2020 at the age of 91 years.

She was born on August 9, 1928 in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Ramona married Inocencio "Pancho" Cancino at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in June 1947.

She is survived by her children: Julia Cancino of Fredericksburg and Carmin and James McLaughlin of Austin.

Ramona worked for the Fredericksburg Independent School District, Immigrants Landing restaurant, The Tower restaurant, and Dietzel Motel.

A Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of the Windcrest Nursing Home and the Hill Country Memorial Hospice. Their kindness and compassion during these challenging times was exceptional.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Ramona's honor to the St. Mary's Endowment Fund, the Hill Country Memorial Hospice, or to the charity of one's choice.
