Richard H. Goewe of Comfort passed away on March 21, 2019 at the age of 75.

He was born in La Vernia TX on December 19, 1943 to Leo and Hazel Smith Goewe. He married Patricia "Patsy" Hudnut " on October 30, 1965 in San Antonio TX.

Richard is survived by his wife Patricia "Patsy" Goewe of Comfort, son Ricky Goewe of Comfort, daughter Krista Lynn Goewe of Austin, daughter Jennifer Simpson of Texarkana, step-son Wayne Dillard, granddaughter Krislyn Goewe of Austin, sister Gloria Gonzalez of San Antonio, sister-in-law Lois Wedenfeller and husband Duane.

He is preceded in death by his parents Leo and Hazel Goewe, 2 sisters, Sylvia Goewe, Betty Stoffle, brother Eugene Goewe, mother-in-law Frieda Kusenberger, , father-in-law John Hudnut, daughter-in-law Debra Goewe, sister-in-law Nancy Schmidt and brother-in-law Lester Hudnut.

Visitation will be Monday March 25, 2019 from 4:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Funeral service will take place on Tuesday March 26, 2019 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Fredericksburg Funeral Home.
