Rita Clara Koenig passed away Monday, August 14th, at the age of 92.
Rita is survived by her children: Dennis Klein & wife Phyllis of San Marcos; Shannon Klein & wife Myrtle of Fredericksburg; Charles Koenig & wife Doris of New Braunfels; Don Koenig & wife Pam of New Braunfels; Marcella Grubbs of Fredericksburg; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister, Josie Eckhardt & brother-in-law, George Nebgen.

Rita was born May 4, 1925, in Gillespie County, to Charles & Hilda Juenke Roeder. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband Harry Klein & 2nd husband Rubin Koenig.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 18th, in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, with Rev. Alan Williams officiating.
Graveside services will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will greet friends 9:30-10:30 Friday, before the service, in church.
