Rojelio Lopez Cortez of Fredericksburg passed away on May 19, 2021 at the age of 74. He was born in Junction TX to Christobal and Clara Lopez Cortez on March 17, 1947. Mr. Cortez was a roofing contractor.

He is survived by his children Martin Cortez and wife Ida of Boerne, Sammy Cortez and wife Amanda of Kerrville, Andrea Cortez Casaez and husband Raymond of Fredericksburg, Roger Cortez and wife Trina of Fredericksburg, Megan Parker and husband Joseph of Fredericksburg, daughter-in-law Melone Cortez of Stonewall; siblings Mary Arizola, Joe Cortez and Dora Cortez; 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Christobal and Clara Cortez, brother Martin Cortez, sister Theresa Cortez.

Per his wishes Mr. Cortez will be cremated with a service at a later date.
