Roland august Borchers passed away August 7th at the age of 98.

Roland is survived by his daughters, Raydean Borchers o Fredericksburg, Kelly Borchers of Lockhart and 4 grandchildren.

Roland was born May 6, 1926, in Fredericksburg, to Henry and Mathilde Weirich Borchers. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Opal Klaerner Borchers, granddaughter Lara Elees Heep, brother Robert Borchers and sister Betty Fletcher.

A memorial service for Roland Borchers will be held 2:00pm, Wednesday, August 14th, in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Schreiner Children's Hospital or the charity of one's choice.
