Ruby Heimann of Fredericksburg passed away Thursday October 24 ^th ,  at the age of 96.   Ruby is survived by her children: Barbara Grona and husband Clayton of Fredericksburg, Glenda Schneider and husband Dean of College Station, sister Wilhemina Miller, sister-in-law Waldeen Beckmann, brother-in-law Kermit Heimann and wife Toni; 9 grandchildren: Craig Grona and wife Renee, Audra Winn and husband Ron, Shala Reed and husband John, Joshua Schneider and wife Andrea, Bethany Graves and husband John, Raechel French and husband Mike, Thomas Schneider, Peter Schneider and Hannah Schneider and 10 great grandchildren.

Ruby was born on September 26, 1923 to Willie and Emma Schaefer Beckmann in Gillespie County. She married Oliver Heimann on July 24, 1949. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and siblings Felix, Elmer, Clarence and Calvin Beckmann, Viola Vestal and Irene Knopp.

Funeral services will be Monday October 28 ^th , at 1:00p.m. in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church with Rev. Bobby Vitek officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will take place 4-6:00 p.m., Sunday October 27 ^th , in Fredericksburg Funeral Home as well as 12-1:00 p.m. Monday, October 28 ^th in church.

Serving as pallbearers: Craig Grona, Ron Winn, John Reed, Joshua Schneider, Thomas Schneider and Peter Schneider. Serving as honorary pallbearers: AudraWinn, Shala Reed, Bethany Graves, Raechel French and Hannah Schneider.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Holy Ghost Lutheran     Church, Hill Country Memorial Hospice or the charity of one's choice.
