Ruth King Freymann passed away Wednesday, August 5 ^th , at the age of 95.

Ruth is survived by her children: Amanda Freymann and husband Joel DeGrand of Beverly Shores IN, Martha Miser and husband Andy of Rosalinda MA, Sarah Fontenot and husband Michael of Fredericksburg, Vance Freymann and wife Anastasia of Manchester NH; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Ruth was born November 13, 1924, in Jackson MN, to George R. and Serana Laverson King. She was a nurse and community activist and The Freymann House, a retreat for abused children, is named for her. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John Gordon Freymann ; 2 brother Don King and Bob King.

Ruth Freymann will be cremated with a celebration of her life at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to The Freymann House , 1019 Farmington Ave., West Hartford CT 06902, or the charity of one's choice.
