Sandra Franklin Netherland of Fredericksburg, Texas/ 1935 – 2019/ Obituary

Ms. Sandy Netherland of Fredericksburg passed away on Feb 15 ^th , 2019, at the age of 83 years.

Sandra Franklin Netherland was born on October 2, 1935 in Abilene, Texas to Barney and Inell Dollar Franklin.

Sandy married James Netherland in 1956 and raised three children.

Sandy is survived by two sons and one daughter:  Larry Netherland of Burlington, Kentucky; Lynn Oros of Fredericksburg; and Scott & Jacque Netherland of Fredericksburg.  Five Grandchildren:  Cayla Netherland Bellamy & Justin of Phoenix, AZ; Cress Netherland of Austin, TX; Rachel Netherland Mills & Ben of Cincinnati, OH, Cameron Netherland of Boulder, CO; and Ashley Oros of Philadelphia, PA.  Four Great Grandchildren Clara Joy Bellamy, Hope Renee Bellamy and Noah Scott Bellamy of Phoenix, AZ, and Catalina Mills of Cincinnati OH.  Sister Kay  Bridge and Bill of Lubbock, TX, brother Johnny Franklin & Sue of Lubbock, TX, and sister Jann Clary & Bud of Breckenridge, TX.

Sandy is preceded in death by her parents Barny Franklin and Inell Dollar Franklin Comolli .

Sandy graduated from Tivy High School in Kerrville, Texas and attended South West Texas University in San Marcos.  She was a buyer and retail clerk at Knopp and Metzger Department Store for 34 years.

There will be a visitation at Fredericksburg Funeral Home Friday, Feb 22 from 4:30-6:30 pm-and Memorial Service at Hill Country Church on Saturday, February 23 at 10:30 am.  Remains will be interred at a later date at Elmwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Abilene, Texas.
