Sandy Sue Schultz of Kerrville, formerly from Fredericksburg, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 11, 2022 at the age of 52.

Sandy was born May 14, 1969, the younger daughter of Linn & Leslie Schultz of Lost Nation, Iowa. Sandy graduated from the Lost Nation High School in 1987 and from Central College in Pella, Iowa in 1991 majoring in marketing and communications.

Sandy worked in marketing management in Austin, TX; Dubuque, IA; and Appleton, WI. She was employed by a property management company in Fredericksburg at the time of her death.

Sandy had a great love for animals. During her younger years, she helped raise 2 orphan lambs on her grandfather's farm, goslings, baby pheasants, and baby bunnies. But kitties were always her most favorite. Her kitty, Whiskers, now lives with her mother in Fredericksburg.

A Memorial Service for Sandy Schultz will be held at 11:00 a.m., June 18, at Memorial Presbyterian Church, 601 N Milam Street in Fredericksburg. The service will be followed by a light lunch in the Fellowship Hall.

Sandy is survived by her mother, Leslie Schultz of Fredericksburg; and her sister, Robi Schultz of Louisville, Kentucky. Her father, Linn Schultz, preceded her in death in 2018. She is sorely missed.
