Searcy F. Griffin of Fredericksburg passed away on January 18, 2019 at the age of 98. He was born on September 8, 1920 in Watonga OK to William F. and Franki R. Hunt Griffin. He married Maxine Wheeler. Searcy served his country in the Navy.

He is survived by his daughter Maureen Griffin of Fredericksburg, son  Bill Griffin, son-in-law Mark Bennett. Grandchildren Rachel Morris, Jimmy Morris, Marcus Bennett, Christine Hardy and Taylor Griffin; great grandchildren Connor Hardy and Marcus W. Bennet

He is preceded in death by his wife Maxine Griffin, daughter Janet Griffin Bennett.

A memorial service will take place on Friday January 25 at 11:00 a.m. in the Memorial Presbyterian Church in Fredericksburg. A private interment of his ashes will take place at Ft. Sam Houston at a later Date.
