Sharon Annette Holmes of Fredericksburg passed away on Wednesday October 2, 2019 at the age of 65. She was born on May 7, 1954 in Kerrville to Cornelius Robert and Susan Marie Gibson Ballou. She served her country as a stenographer in the Army. On August 14, 1976 she married Duncan Holmes. Sharon was a Kindergarten teacher.

She is survived by her husband Duncan Holmes of Fredericksburg, daughter Hannah Elizabeth Holmes and husband Ross Taylor of Kansas City MO, brother Robert Ballou and wife Patty of Redland CA, sister Deborah Pilgrim and husband David of Burnet.

She is preceded in death by her parents Cornelius and Susan Ballou, sisters Judy Weatherford and Kathy Semanovich.

Per her wishes Sharon will be cremated and private service will take place at a later date.
