Our precious Lord Jesus came and called Sharon Ann (Scoggins) Wienecke home to heaven on November 14, 2025, at the age of 80 years old, she was surrounded by her loving family.

Sharon was born on December 28, 1944, to Norris Carol Scoggins and Vivian Berneice Hughes.  Sharon attended Tivy High School where she enjoyed singing in the Tivy High School Choir.  Sharon had the voice of an angel when she sang.

Sharon met and married the love of her life, Robert William "Bobby" Wienecke.  The love they shared was unique and special and they were inseparable until his death 62 and ½ years later.  Sharon was a strong Christian woman and she and Bobby raised their three daughters together to be strong Christian women as well.

Sharon and Bobby made their home in Fort Worth, Texas before moving back home to Harper. Sharon worked in the cafeteria at Azle ISD.  She was also the assistant Manager of Motts, a small department store in Azle, and her final career was an instructional aide at Ingram ISD when she and Bobby moved back to Harper. Sharon was very active at Eagle Mountain Baptist Church in Fort Worth.   She sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School.   After moving to Harper, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Harper and Wild Ride Ministries.

Sharon was a loving wife, mother, Nanna, and aunt.  She loved her family, most especially her grandbabies and great grandbabies above all, except for God.

Sharon was an amazing cook.  She loved to cook the most delicious food for her family.  She made the best homemade tacos, enchiladas, potato salad, and lemonade ice-box pies, among many other amazing dishes. When she cooked, she cooked as if she were cooking for the army.  She always wanted to make sure that everyone had plenty of food to eat.

Sharon is survived by her brothers and sisters in laws, Calvin and Brenda Smith, Butch and Kathy Scoggins, daughters, Robin  Harper and husband Jay,  Renee Smith and husband Tim, 12 grandchildren, Brittany Marshall, Kortney Birdwell,  Chris Harper, Layne Smith, Jennye Johnson, Kasi Mauldin, Lexi Smith, Kelsey Ladner, Sydney Simpson, Ricky Harper, Annie Harper, Alex Harper, and Carli Smith, 14 great-grandchildren, Jayla Harper, Aniston Marshall, Arrow Harper, Emerson Marshall, Kensley Smith, Huxley Harper, Maren Marshall, Atlas Harper, Paislee Harper, Ellie Harper, Kreed  Smith, Saylor Simpson, Brixton Ladner, Tilly Birdwell, and Dallas Booker.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Wienecke, her parents, Norris Scoggins and Joe and Vivian Hughes; daughter, Sheley Smith; grandson, Josh Harper; and granddaughter Jayci Harper.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Fredericksburg Funeral Home in Fredericksburg, Texas

Celebration of Life will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Wild Ride Ministries in Harper, Texas and burial will follow at the Harper Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Harper Volunteer Fire Department, Wild Ride Ministries, or another charitable organization of your choice.
