Stanley Gerald Strand's Obituary
Stanley Gerald Strand Jr. (Jerry) passed away on December 16, 2017 at the age of 82. He was born in Minneapolis Minnesota to Stanley Gerald Strand Sr. and Hilda Swanson Strand on September 15, 1935.
Jerry was a pilot in the Air Force and married Patricia Herriage on July 6, 1957 at Perrin Air Force Base.
After a career in the Air Force Jerry and Patricia retired to Fredericksburg.
He is survived by his 4 daughters, Sherri Lynn Miochaletz and husband James of Goodman MO, Susan Elizabeth Trudeau of Woodbury MN, Sandra Jean Shadley of Fredericksburg TX, Staci Lee Ludwig and husband Anthony of Austin TX; sisters Joyce Marvel, Virginia Renz and brother James Strand as well as 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia Herriage Strand, his parents Stanley G. Strand Sr. and Hilda Swanson Strand.
Per his wishes Mr. Strand will be cremated and his ashes interred at Ft. Sam Houston national Cemetery at a later date.
