Sylvia Ann Izard of Fredericksburg passed away on January 20, 2026 at the age of 86. She was born in Fredericksburg to Sylvester Crenwelge and Lillie Mae Mund Crenwelge. She married Lynn Izard in 1959.

She is survived by her children Ryan Izard and wife Yuxin of Fredricksburg, Bill Izard and wife Mary Kay of Houston, Quinn Izard and wife Pat of Paige TX, Karlin DeVoll and husband Rod of Alpine TX; as well as 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Sylvester and Lillie Mae Crenwelge, her husband Lynn Izard, and son Lynn Izard Jr.

In following her wishes she will be cremated with Memorial Visitation at First Baptist Church Fredericksburg Starting at 11:00a.m. on Saturday February 28, 2026 with a Memorial Service to follow at 11:30a.m.
