Thomas Marshall Walden of Fredericksburg passed away on May 7, 2020 at the age of 86.

Tom was born on June 19, 1933 in Mission TX to Marshall and Anna Carter Walden. On August 14, 1954 he married Betty Lee Friedrich in Mission TX.

Prior to his retirement he worked at Transwestern Pipeline Co. of Houston TX. After retiring he and his wife were home delivery for the Fredericksburg Standard-Radio Post for a number of years. Later Tom worked at Wal-Mart. Tom was an active member of the Cherry Mountain School Association, and volunteer at the Fredericksburg Theater and PCAA. He also volunteered with the Republican Party.

Tom is survived by his daughters, Marsha Lee Berger and Maurine Walden, son Mark Walden, 6 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his Wife Betty Lee Walden, granddaughter Laura Lee, son-in-law Danny Berger as well as his parents Marshall and Anna Walden.

A Graveside Service will take place on Monday May 11, 2020 at 11:00am in the Greenwood Cemetery.

A limited Visitation will take place from 9:30 to 10:30 am on Monday May 11, 2020 in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home. Social Distancing guidelines will be in place for the service and visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, Votive Hospice or the charity of one's choice.
