In the small morning hours of November 16th, Timothy Wayne Brownlee relented and relinquished his grip on this earth and left his infirm body. As hard headed and determined as Tim was, cancer would win this battle.

Tim was the 2nd of 6 children born to Catherine Ann and Ray Murray Brownlee on September 28, 1956   Siblings and their spouses include Laure and Roy West, Linda and Shane Andersen, Lois Brownlee, Carry and Ann Brownlee, Michael and Jeanette Brownlee along with 9 nieces and nephews and one very precious granddaughter, Harper Jean Brownlee

Tim was proud of his heritage as a native Austinite and felt particularly lucky to grow up in South Austin. He attended Crockett High School when it was "in the country" and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout before graduating in 1974. From there Tim worked for Austin Parks and Recreation where he served as the Technical Director for the Austin Trail of Lights and helped initiate Lady Bird Johnson's Lake Beautification Project. Tim had the honor to work directly with the former first lady and one of his prized possessions is the hand written letter from Mrs. Johnson expressing her gratitude to Tim.

In 1986, Tim caught the eye of a pretty Urban Park Ranger, swept her off her feet and married Pamela Dunbar on October 4th. 364 days later, Jacob Wayne Brownlee was born and secured his position as Tim's ultimate source of pride and joy. After 25 years, Tim retired and devoted his full attention to his love for NASCAR and drag racing, including several years participating in the Llano Mud Run in his  1976 Chevy truck, "Old  Orange." Tim loved nature, the outdoors, deep sea and fresh water fishing and hunting everything you can legally shoot and was a state exotic record holder for Black Buck and Aoudad ram. Tim and Pam relocated to beautiful Willow City, Texas in 2011 and built the home where he died with his favorite cat at his feet and wrapped in Pam's arms. He is preceded in death by his father Ray Murray Brownlee and leaves behind his devoted wife, Pam, son Jacob and his wife Lisa and their daughter Harper Jean Brownlee along with countless friends and loved ones...and his cats Smokey, Otis and Stinker.
