Valerie Janelle Neffendorf of Fredericksburg passed away on Thursday December 29, 2016 at the age of 73. She was born on October 30, 1943 in Fredericksburg to T.J. and Erna Witt Neffendorf. She is survived by her children Leslie Ball of Fredericksburg, Kent Wahl and wife Sharon of Fredericksburg; 5 grandchildren: Mitch Wahl of Dallas, A.J. Wahl of Stephenville, Ben Ball & wife Emily of Fredericksburg, Jake Ball & wife Kaleena of Fredericksburg, Valerie Delany & husband Antonio DelaFuente of Kyle, Dawson Ball of Fredericksburg & 4 great grandchildren.

Janelle worked 3 years at Pedernales electric in Johnson City & 35 years at Central Texas Electric. She played piano & organ for choirs & church services for 4 years. She was a member of Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, Melinda Woerner Circle & MYF.

The family will greet friends 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday December 31st, in Fredericksburg Funeral Home with a Funeral Service at 2:00p.m. in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home Chapel, with Joe Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
