Vernell Doebbler of Fredericksburg passed away on December 19, 2018 at the age of 85. Vernell was born June 6, 1933 to Felix and Cora Kast Kuhlmann in Fredericksburg. She married Franklin "Frank" Arthur Walter Doebbler on August 26, 1953 in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Doebbler is survived by her children Sandra Mauldin and her husband Dennis of San Antonio, Byron Doebbler and wife Jeanette of Pipe Creek, Raynell Stavinoha of San Antonio; siblings Olivia Wiseman and husband Calvin of Fredericksburg, Ellen Justice of Houston, Calvin Kuhlmann of Fredericksburg,; as well as 6 grandchildren Lindsay and Chris Ackles, Jason Doebbler, Kaitlyn Doebbler, Kaiser Stavinoha, Ryan Stavinoha, Zane Stavinoha  and 1 great grandchild Ainsley Ackles.

She is preceded in death by her parents Felix and Cora Kuhlmann, her husband Frank Doebbler and a sister Helen Stehling.

Visitation will be Thursday December 27 from 4:00p.m.- 6:00p.m. in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home

Funeral Services will take place on Friday December 28, 2018 in the Bethany Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg at 11:00a.m.  with Rev Kevin Haug officiating, interment to follow at Grapetown Cemetery

Memorial contributions may be made to Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and Bethany Lutheran Church Preeschool or the charity of one's choice.
