Viola Hulda Rose of Fredericksburg passed away on April 1, 2018 at the age of 100. She was born in Shiner TX on October 10, 1917 to Edmund Albert and Frieda Marie Schilhab Sauer.  She is survived by 2 daughters Diana Tracy and husband Dick of Spring Branch TX, Lisa M. Stapleton and husband Pat of Fredericksburg, sister Doris Kutach of Victoria TX as well as 5 grandchildren; Dayne Tracy of Spring Branch, Dan Tracy and wife Rona of Stillwater OK, Kristin Settles of Houston TX, Callie Richardson and husband Geoff of Hurst TX, Hannah Stapleton of Fredericksburg, and 3 great grandchildren Cal, Tess, and Willa Tracy of Stillwater OK.

She is preceded in death by her husband E.H. Rose, siblings Bennie Sauer, Clara Hunt, Erwin Sauer, Edmund Sauer, Glada Mae Thompson, Marvin Sauer and Everett Sauer.

A graveside service will take place on Thursday April 5, 2018 at 2:00p.m. in the Shiner Cemetery in Shiner TX.
