Virginia Ann Brey; March 8, 1945 - March 29, 2024 she was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, at the Naval Air Station, to Virginia Ruth Mayfield Brey and David Henry Brey, both predeceasing her. Ann put a great deal of energy into life, resulting in many accomplishments in her career and personal life, from President of Northshore Bank in Houston, Director of the Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce and an honoree of Who's Who of American Women. Ann served as Executive Director of Pan American Society unt il recently retiring and then joining the team at The Nimitz Museum in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Ann made many friends no matter where she was as she participated in her community throughout her life. Ann was an avid tennis player and a student of Bible Study.

She graduated from Ray High School (1963) in Corpus Christi and furthered her education at Houston Baptist University in Houston. Ann is survived by her sisters, Susan Beth Brockert (Joseph), Judith Kay Brey, Pamela Brey and Rebecca Ruth Clouser (Michael) and her nephews Colin Anthony Madrid (Marti), Aron Juan Madrid (Wanza), Michael Blake Clouser, Sean Brey Clouser (Kristin), Cameron Edwin Clouser (Laurel) and Connor Stephen Clouser (Jenn). Virginia Ann's life will be celebrated in a private family setting. Please remember her favorite shelter, Fredericksburg Animal Shelter for any remembrances in her name.
