William H. Boor of Fredericksburg passed away on January 31, 2021 at the age of 93. He was born in Willoughby Ohio, to Stanley and Henrietta Shores Boor on July 21, 1927. On January 29, 1949 he married Anne M. Klima in Willoughby OH. He served his country in the Navy. Mr. Boor was a civil engineer and surveyor.

He is survived by his daughters Karen Cornehl and husband Mike of Fredericksburg, Maria Howard and husband Craig of San Antonio, granddaughter Jessie Himpele and husband Matt  of Houston, and great grandson Benjamin Hayes Himpele.

He is preceded in death by his wife Anne M.  Boor, son William "Billy" Boor Jr., his parents Stanley and Henrietta Boor, brothers Jack H. Boor and Stanley F. Boor.

Bill was a Fireman First Class with the U.S. Navy, serving from May 1945 to July 1946. He went on to become a civil engineer and surveyor.

Per his wishes Mr. Boor will be cremated with a service to follow at a late date.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or the charity of one's choice.
